Before you apply, please make sure you've read through the Writer's Guide and understand what you're getting yourself into. I know that sounds strange, but our community of writers is incredibly prolific (on average, we produce the equivalent of a short novel each week), and many new writers end up leaving within the first month because they didn't realize just how time-consuming (or addictive!) the USS Galaxy can be.
